Midstream Companies

Midstream companies are involved in the transportation (by pipeline, rail, barge, oil tanker or truck), storage, and wholesale marketing of crude or refined petroleum products. This includes all companies that have pipelines which are used for transporting heavy oil, sales oil, or natural gas to specific markets. The companies either rent out pipeline space or do a joint venture on a new pipeline.
