Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)

Non-destructive testing (NDT) is a wide group of analysis techniques used in the oil and gas industry to material properties. This includes damage to material through stress, erosion, corrosion as well as evaluate welds. The most common NDT used in oil and gas industry is x-ray or radiographic. However, other types used in the oil and gas industry include ultrasonic, magnetic-particle, and liquid penetrant.
