Non-Regenerative Sweetening

Non-regenerative sweetening is used to remove H2S from a gas stream as well as remove some H2S from liquid streams. H2S Scavengers and H2S Scrubbers are the most common non-regenerative sweetening options. Both of these options use a chemical (liquid or solid) which absorbs the H2S. Bing non-regenerative, the spent chemical then must be stored and disposed of.
