Snubbing

A type of heavy well intervention performed on oil and gas wells. It involves a surface pressure packing assembly that allows you to run pipe or tubular into a well when you have wellbore pressure. It involves running the BHA on a pipe string using a hydraulic workover rig. When done so, it's called hydraulic snubbing. Can be done without removing the wellhead.
